From Service to Healing
Krystal Johnson is a Board-Certified Holistic Health Practitioner (BCHHP), Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (FNTP), entrepreneur, educator, and founder of J&J Holistic Nutritional Therapy. Her diverse background spans healthcare, military-connected education, leadership development, business consulting, and holistic wellness — allowing her to bring a uniquely comprehensive perspective to helping others achieve lasting health.
Krystal's passion for health began early through her studies in dentistry and her work in pediatric dental care. While she valued the clinical foundation dentistry provided, she became increasingly drawn to understanding the deeper causes of chronic health concerns and the powerful role nutrition, lifestyle, and holistic wellness play in supporting the body's ability to heal.
Her educational journey includes studies through the University of Maryland Global Campus — a university recognized for serving military members and their families around the world — as well as continued education through the University of North Carolina Wilmington and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Before dedicating herself fully to holistic health, Krystal built a successful career as an entrepreneur, business owner, and leadership consultant. She traveled throughout the United States helping organizations grow, developing high-performing teams, implementing operational systems, and mentoring emerging leaders. Drawing from military values of discipline, service, structure, and excellence, she developed a results-driven approach that continues to shape how she supports clients today.
Recognizing that true wellness requires more than information alone, Krystal returned to advanced studies in functional nutrition and holistic health. In 2018, she earned her designation as a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner through the Nutritional Therapy Association. She is also a Board-Certified Holistic Health Practitioner and maintains professional affiliations with both the National Association of Drugless Practitioners (NADP) and the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP).
Today, Krystal combines science-based nutritional therapy, holistic health principles, lifestyle coaching, and faith-centered encouragement to help individuals identify root causes, restore balance, and create sustainable wellness habits. Her mission is not simply to help people feel better — but to empower them with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to transform their health and their lives.
